With the New Year comes the time to ponder one’s career choice. Are you happy in your current job or career? I remember when I was still a kid use to play Cowboys and Indians pretending to be the wild west hero Jesse James and the tomahawk wielding apache Geronimo, horseback riding our dad giving them backaches. I also had those water guns that my mom bought during christmas and I squirted and sprayed massive amount of water in our neighbor’s face all day shirtless outdoors like they were laser guns until our water bills got high. And so on with rubbers flying all over the place and plastic BB’s from our pellet guns. Until we became matured or became adults we finally became soldiers and found ourselves joining either in the Military Force or the Guerilla force in an unreal world of 3d and illusion in the computers. Later on as soon as we found out about a sport called Airsoft, we just can’t help it but get back to being a kid again.
Airsoft is a modern combat sport or a recreational hobby in which participants eliminate opponents in a skirmish or military simulation by hitting each other with projectile BB’s or plastic spherical pellets from a gun that is either powered by gas, spring load or an electrically powered gearbox. Externally an airsoft gun replicates a real gun but it was not considered as a firearm because of the fact that it does not require fire and gun powder to explode and shoot projectiles out of it’s barrel. Even though an airsoft gun is just a toy it still causes harm which requires each player to use gears and gadgets for safety similar to what military call a battle gear.
Our eyes are the most important part of the body that needs protection when playing airsoft. It is the most vulnerable part of the human body that when it becomes hit can cause loss of vision or blindness. An ordinary Reading Glasses or a Sunglasses is not enough to protect our eyes from these high velocity plastic bb’s. A specialized goggles is required or a safety mask that could withstand high speed projectiles on impact, so you might as well put away those Designer Reading Glasses and hide it somewhere safe.
An AEG (Automatic Electric Gun) shoots projectile plastic bb’s in high velocity which is measured in feet per seconds. Mostly airsoft guns fire bb’s at a velocity of 100 FPS to 700 FPS with a range of about 50 to a 100+ meters however many countries has a speed limit of 340 and less for safety reasons.
AEG’s are not like water guns where it is still allowed to be fired anywhere outdoors. Airsoft participants are only allowed to play wargames in a designated battlefield where it cannot cause any harm to civilians and bystanders. Even though an AEG is not real, as an airsoft enthusiast we should take responsibility of our actions when using such things and carry them wisely. Like they said treat them as though they are real.

I hate speeding tickets but I love driving. While driving in general is not that exciting, driving fast is. There seems to be a problem with this; it is called speeding tickets. Nothing kills the driving mood like a friggin’ traffic ticket. That’s why I pay much attention to fighting traffic tickets.

I got a speeding ticket once off the Oregon Coast for going 65 in a 30mph zone. Unfair I tell you. I am not the only person who has gotten one of those “infractions” for speed limit signs that are unfairly posted; such was the case on a road trip with my friend a while back. You need some knowledge on how to fight traffic tickets to handle this.

If a speedometer on a car reads up to 120mph, why make a speed limit at 65mph on the freeway? They want you to speed so they can make their money. I think cops get off making you feel stupid by asking you why they pulled you over. Or they think you are dumb enough to admit you’re guilty before you have a chance to defend yourself. They force you to learn fight speeding tickets.

Fight speeding tickets by sticking it to the man! A hundred dollar speeding ticket is just a disguise for the real cost. Inevitably you always get scheduled to appear in court during working hours so that you continue to lose money. Now your $100 dollar ticket has magically turned into a $200 plus ticket. There is nothing good associated with speeding tickets. So I am an advocate for contesting speeding tickets every time.

True story; I got off with a warning for going 90mph in a 30mph zone, passing on a double yellow in front of on coming traffic, which just so happened to be a green cop car, in a car registered in California, a drivers license issued in Washington and insurance in Arizona. I suppose if you are women and are lucky enough to get pulled over by a man, your have a better chance of getting just a warning then an actual ticket.

Now I would like to say that I got off with a warning because I was wearing one of those bikinis that makes your boobies look really big, but I would have to say for all those offense which were pretty obvious, that I got off because he could not prove that I was speeding. I mean, he did not have radar, could not have been able to pace me and there were no air cops either so he really did not have anything for his defense.

After reading this book I found on contesting speeding tickets, in hind sight I can say it was defiantly the lack of evidence that got me off the hook, not the bikini. I have not gotten that lucky all the time but now I know I have a reliable defense when it comes to getting my tickets reduced or thrown out.

I am not likely to get so lucky again and my driving record is not exactly good, so I have to pay fortune to keep my car insured and I cannot stand driving school. When a light turns yellow, what does it mean? Good gosh it is like being in elementary school again. Besides I know the traffic laws I just have a problem when it comes to obeying them. Like sex, I know that abstinence is best for protecting yourself against STD’s but I would rather have protection!

Obviously to avoid speeding tickets you probably should not speed, but 1. I cannot stand being behind some old man with an oxygen tank in the back of his car; and 2. Most speed limits are too slow. I got a speeding ticket in an alley once for going 10 mph. Gimmi a break! My Grandma can walk faster than that.

Anyways, there are ways to beat traffic tickets. You just need to know where to find them and what your best line of defense is when it comes to contesting the infamous speeding ticket.
